I just registered for ArcGIS Desktop Associate Certification Examination..

please I will like to know the following;

1..What are the grading/scoring method?

1..How many questions are asked?

2..How many question does one need to score correctly to pass?

The number of questions depends upon which exam you signed up for:

10.3 exam

Number of questions: 95

10.5 exam

Number of questions: 80

Numerical scores will not be given. Candidates will receive a Score Report which illustrates a section level analysis of the candidate’s exam performance.

I'm tempted to say the passing score is 80% - at least that what I recall from when I took it a few years ago - but I don't see any current statement to that extent.

80 Questions in 2 hours

How many question does one need to score correctly to pass?

I think the cut-off mark is classified. Give your best. The Result will be in the form of Passed or Not Passed.

You should give emphasis on the topics under "Skills Measured". Also look at the preparation resources.

Hi Okeke, Esri does not share certification exam scoring methodology; however, in the Skills Measured tab on the exam page, you can see the relative weight assigned to each skill category. Use the category weights to plan your preparation. Also, be sure to check out the free sample question web course to understand how exam questions are structured. Best wishes for your exam success!
