Add Users to Group by Enterprise Group or Individually

I have set up Portal to add users to a group from an Enterprise Group. However, at times, there are also cases where I would like to add an individual not in the Active Directory group to the Portal group. Is there a way to use both Enterprise groups and still have the option to "Invite Users"?
