labels the same color as their feature attribute

Sorry if this is not the right place for this question. I am trying to get my labels the same color as their feature attribute. I have identified 50 unique values from 1 field and would like the label for each to be the same color as that value. Hope this makes sense.

Hi Skip,

Although it will not set the colors for you, under the Labels tab in the Layer Properties you can select "Define classes of features and label each class differently." And then select "Get Symbol Classes". This will at least set up the different groups for you that you would then have to set the colors for.

Thanks for the reply Melanie,

So far this is the only way I can see doing it but then I need to identify the color code for each of the lines I am showing. I have not figured out how to identify the color being used to each of the lines yet.

You can always get or set the RGB values for a color by going to the color boxes and choosing More Colors, but matching up 50 would be a bit of a pain. Whatever you do save your results as a layer file for future import if you think you will need to do it again.
