Disabled export layer to CSV file

Hi, I have a feature service published in an arcgis server A, and registered in Portal on Machine B. (Non hosted service)
I connecte excel's arcgis for office Producto to portal, and successfully added the feature service to an excel map.

However I found no way to export the layer data as a CSV. (because the option appears grayed)
I also tried with hosted service and the option looks still disabled

I would apreciate any ideas.

Shooting in the dark here as I don't have Portal installed and Maps for Office doesn't work with our Office 365.

From everything I've heard it's basically ArcGIS Online for your own network though. With a feature service, in AGOL, there is a checkbox at the bottom of the page under the Settings tab to allow others to export different formats. By default it is unchecked. Could it be that simple?

the problem is that this option only appears for hosted services , and we need to work with non-hosted
