topic Using "Simplfy Polygon" with "Resolve_Errors" doest not detect and solve all errors? in ArcGIS Enterprise Portal Questions

Hi all,

I am using the tool "Simplify Polygon" with "Bend Simplify" a tolerance of 10km and the setting "Resolve_Errors". When I use this tool for exmaple for south america (in this case south america consists of many small polygons and many vertices) the tool simplifies all polygons, but creates also new topological errors. In the original dataset there are no gaps between the polygons, in the result there are many gaps (see picture attached). Do I have wrong settings, or ist this a bug? And how can I avoid such gaps?

Thanks for your answers.
