Web adapter for Notebook server running on Linux

I have set up NBS on Red hat linux. Port 11443 is opened on linux box. I can access it from the https://IP:11443/arcgis/admin

I have a WA IIS on separate windows server. I successfully registered the NBS with this WA. I can see the WA in NBS

However I can not access NBS via the WA, I am getting:

Could not access any server machines. Please contact your system administrator.

Questions:

What might the problem be?

Can I use IIS WA to link to NBS on linux?

My linux box doesnt have a SSL certificate so https triggers a warning? Could this be a problem?
