User '' cannot access the ArcGIS Server administration URL https://MyServer:6443/arcgis

Heey Everyone.

So im tried to setup the Enterprise with a Portal and a Gis server + Data store.

Everything went fine till i needed to add the server on the Portal.

Username + Password for the Gis Server.

And i get this error User 'Myaccount' cannot access the ArcGIS Server administration URL 'https://myserver:6443/arcgis'.

I can login manuelt if i go to the /manager page. but there is nothing on the /arcgis page. i have attached a photo on the "https://mypage:6443/arcgis" page and not sure if it should look like this, or that is the person it cant login and cant get added as server to my portal. 🙂

Are you able to login to https://myserver:6443/arcgis/admin?

If not, please ensure you are signing in with an administrator account.

Yes, i can login without any problems and with the same user as for /manager.

What version of ArcGIS Enterprise are you using? Is it a multi-machine deployment or a single-machine deployment?

Please ensure all the required ports are allowed through network firewall.

If you have enabled administrative access to the server through the Web Adaptor, you could use the URL with web adaptor for Admin URL.

*It would also be wise to log a case with Esri Support team, as well.

Formally, the Admin URL is "/arcgis/admin" and not "/arcgis".

Hey all.

Sorry for the little late answar. and pretty new to all this arcgis services. 🙂

So lets start from the beginning again.

I have a server with Arcgis for Portal. Both version 10.9

and another server with Gis Server + Datastores.

Both got an Webadapter with the name for where they are.

Everything seems fine and i came to the point on the tutorial where i need to add the server on the Portal site. (Photo attached)

The account works fine if i login manuel on /manager or /admin.

And they ask for the /arcgis URL. if i use /manager or /admin just give an error saying its not accessable from portal for arcgis. - So its a closed Port?, even tho they only ask for /arcgis and nothing else?

I have open for port 7080 6080 7443 and 6443 between the two servers.

Just noticed i maybe are missing port 6006.

Hey Joshua.

I can only agree. But i just follow the Tutorial and on the page it just say "/arcgis" too.

So with "/arcgis" the error is:

User 'MyUser' cannot access the ArcGIS Server administration URL

But if i enter the website in a browser its just an empty page, like i attached at the beginning.

If i use "/arcgis/admin" i get this error:

ArcGIS Server administration URL 'https://MyGisServer:6443/arcgis/admin' is not accessible from Portal for ArcGIS. Verify the URL is correct and try again.

But i get access Forbidden or Timeout if i try to access the website on a browser on my Portal server.

both with 7443 and 6443 as ports. So this could maybe be the problem ? 🙂

I just dont see anything get denied or blocked in my firewall. so not sure why its "Forbidden"
