All -

Working with a vendor we were told that the Utility Network would consider it invalid to have a structure network junction coincident with a utility domain device or junction. This seems illogical and I'm looking for a reality check.

In our GN implementation we have separate underground structure and electric networks and many cases where an electric feature (i.e., a fuse) is coincident with an underground structure junction (i.e., a conduit end point).

Any clarification here would be much appreciated.

Thx,

Ed

Hi @EdwardBlair,

I can confirm that the structure network and domain network features can be co-incident. For example a Pole (Structure Junction) is co-incident with a connection point(Electric Junction)

There is no "connectivity" between the structure network and the domain network. But that being said you can use associations and containment to "connect" the two together.
https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/utility-network/feature-restrictions.htm

Your example should not be flagged as validation error in UN.
Was there a specific example you wanted to work through?

Hope this helps.
