Cannot load contect from a website using Chrome

Odd behavior with Chrome ver 41.xxx

In AGOL, My Content, I tried to add an item from the Web.

I select an ArcGIS Server web service and while the dialog box fills in the title, it then pops with an error that:

Service " does not exist or is inaccessible.

This is an active and working service, used daily.

I can add the exact service without a problem from IE 11.

It's only Chrome that gives me this grief.

Any ideas? It's not a show stopper since IE 11 is our standard here.

However, I am working on a web app for an iPad so .....
