Custom Widget: Draw Line, Buffer (30m), and Select Features from Multiple Layers

I'm looking for guidance on creating a custom widget using Experience builder SDK. The desired functionality is as follows:

1) Draw a Line: Allow users to draw a polyline on the map.
2) Create a Buffer: Once a line is drawn, automatically create a buffer of 30 meters around it.
3) Feature Selection: Identify and retrieve all features from multiple feature layers that intersect or are within this 30-meter buffer.
Could anyone provide a sample widget or point me towards relevant resources

I created an experience builder using the Select Tool and the Query Tool but large buffer distances caused inconsistent results, so I opened up a case https://my.esri.com/#/support/bugs/bugs?bugNumber=BUG-000165854 it says its in Product Plan that update was over 14 months ago.

I use the Public Notification Instant App instead and it works great for all of our users. It is great for creating buffers and making selections.
