Connecting Collect Values to Cell Statistics in Model Builder

I have an ArcPro model that uses a sub model to create a Collect Values output containing a list of raster files that are located in a .gdb. The outputs are specific file paths to the rasters i.e., C:\X\ESM\MyRasters.gdb\Raster1 etc.

However, the output of this sub model needs to connect this Cell Statistics in the main model but the inputs are not being recognised as valid inputs and only allows the connection as 'PreCondition' and not the usual 'Input Values or Constant Values'. What do I need to do to make these inputs valid for Cell Statistics?

What you described work for me, my input rasters were tested as TIF and file geodatabase rasters, fed into a collects tool and that sub model connected correct with cell statistics. It would suggest the problem is in your sub-model and as you don't show it, no one can help you.
