How to change onClick (pointerDown) to onLoad for side panel in Crowdsource Reporter App?

I'm working with the Crowdsource Reporter template (downloaded from here and seen here). You'll see that, in order to see the comments, a user needs to click on a feature. I only have one category, so to speak and am looking to just have the section expanded.

Our sample app online shows the functionality issue: http://charlotte.maps.arcgis.com/apps/CrowdsourceReporter/index.html?appid=87842846daf24f2988e3f1c08e34f42c

You'll need to click on the 'Click here to provide your input' for those subsections to be shown.

All we want is for that section to be expanded. Any insight? I watched the event-listener in the console and it pointed to the init.js file, but it also did not initiate properly when being watched, so I'm not sure if that's where I want to make changes. Thanks in advance!

Andrew Valenski‌ This is a good point. I'll see what I can do about getting this fixed.

In the mean time, if you put the reporting layers in their own maps, you might get a user experience more similar to what you are seeking.
