Map Rotation - android touch table

Hi,

I am developing a map app for a participatory mapping workshop - where we will be using a touch table (running on Android).

I would like to make the map rotatable so that users can stay seated around the table.

I have built the app thought the app developer - and am unable to Arc Scene as I need to connect to an external WMS.

Is there a way of building in map rotation to a standard app?

From the runtime SDK for Android I found the following https://developers.arcgis.com/android/10-2/sample-code/map-rotation/, but am unsure as to whether this is relevant to my needs, or where to insert.
