topic ArcGis Pro add-in automatic update in Developers Questions

Hi everyone,

I am working on a full migration to ArcGIS Pro from ArcMap 10.2.

We use a lot of add-ins and python scripts developed for us. I checked the behaviours of add-ins and that it is not necessary to recompile the code for minor changes in Pro updates.

Now, in our office we are not admin of the machines. So when a new version of an add-in will be realeased we won't be able to install it. Could it be possible to write a script for Pro that go check if there is a new version of our add-ins and install it automatically?

I am absolutely not a developer, I am just researching the possibilities of doing the migration soon.

Thank you.
