alberta township system library available?

Greetings and Happy New Year to everyone!

I was wondering if anyone knew of a library in JS, python, or really any other language that is capable of converting Lat/Long into Alberta Township System coordinates and vice-versa. My searches of the internet have not been fruitful so far. I just don't want to reinvent the wheel if there are wheels rolling out there. Thank you for your help.

it says the system is proprietary but there are tools ATS Map Creator and http://www.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html?webmap=516167a96f984a07b149a885b9860e8e

There is a link on the site to gov't conversion tools, but their server seems to be offline today
