Visual Studio 2013 Templates Missing

I installed the ArcGIS_Runtime_SDK_DotNet_1025. I do not have the ESRI project templates in VS.

What am I missing? According to the Install Guide, everything should be contained in this SDK.

I am running Visual Studio 2013 Ultimate, newest .NET SDK, and Arc 10.2.2.

if you're developing applications for ArcGIS and not standalone apps, you should install the ArcObjects_SDK_for_NET_Framework_1022 SKD instead.

I show the runtime installed. I am looking for the templates for Add-Ins, Buttons etc. Maybe I am just used to an older version as seen here with an ArcGIS option. I think Ken is right but the ESRI developers page keeps pushing me to the ArcGIS runtime that I already have. I've gone to my.esri.com to download the SDK. On the Downloads page (under My Organization), click the View Downloads button for the ArcGIS for Desktop version you want. On the next page, look for the "ArcObjects SDK for the Microsoft .NET Framework"

It's just as Ken has stated. The ArcObjects .NET SDK will not be available on the developers site. This site is intended for the ArcGIS for Runtime products (.NET, Java, iOS, etc.) and the Web APIs (JavaScript, Leaflet, etc.). For the ArcObjects SDK you'll need to go to your MyEsri account, download the SDK, and install it within a supported version of Visual Studio to get the integration features. You'd be looking for the below options (This is Visual Studio 2013 on my ArcGIS 10.3.X machine).

Thanks so much. I didn't realize that I had to log in to download it. I figured it would be available on the developers site so I was really confused. I didn't think they Runtime SDK was actually the right thing but I couldn't find anything else.

Have you gotten this to work? I'm running 10.2.2 and VS 2013 and I can't get the 1022 patch to even install. It still wants to find VS 2012 or 2010.

Hi Bill,

10.2.2 doesn't support VS 2013 so you shouldn't see the templates there by default.
