ArcGIS API for Python

ArcGIS Online (AGO) supports access and mapping OGC layers from the web for WFS, WMS and WMTS.

It would be nice if OGC layers could also be displayed in a Jupyter Notebook. Currently if you display an AGO webmap that contains OGC layers in a notebook they are not displayed. Or if you have an OGC layer in AGO and try add it to a mapview in a notebook you get an error.

It is understandable that there are limitations; but you would expect display of OGC layers in AGO map viewer should also work in the ArcGIS API for Python map viewer.

David

We are exploring this functionality for WMS, WMTS, GeoJSON, CSV and GeoRSS support in the map widget.
