How about communicating on Mastodon @EsriDevs ?

Don't want to do politics here, but now that you have to register on X to get the latest news published by @EsriDevs, wouldn't it make sense to start publishing to a plateform, let's say more ... open, like for example mastodon ?

I'm not a mastodon user, I know its supposedly more open, anyone can setup a server, but I've always been concerned about possible man in the middle type of attack surfaces when communication is through a server you think you trust in their type of architecture. It was years ago since I last looked at Mastodon though so maybe they have improved some of this.

I think it would be interesting to conduct a poll and see where our users would like to receive updates and information from Esri Developers.

Excellent suggestion ! Thanks for chiming in !

I suggested Mastodon but I don't have a strong opinion on that. My point was more that before X took over Twitter, I used to be able to follow many of Esri Developers without any account and I always found it quite interesting. I now miss it !

Anything opened would do.
