Should I be able to load VMap in ArcMap Desktop 10.2? The catalogue recognises it, but when I try to drag it into my main window ArcMap crashes, no error, just closes.

Am I doing something wrong?

Can you provide more information about the VMap item?

Is it related to this: VPF To Geodatabase—Help | Documentation (arcgis.com)

Also, 10.2.x is retired and support for it may be very light.

When you mention VMap are you talking about VPF Data? And is it that you want to visualize the vpf data in ArcMap? You should be able to use the add data button and navigate to the VPF feature class and add it as a layer.

OK, thanks, seems to work if I use the Add data button. I usually just drag stuff in from the catalogue or Windows explorer.👍
