If we have to connect to table before we can add the connection, why don't you ask for table name in the Snowflake Connection configuration?

Hello,

I've attempted to create a connection to a Data Store using the BETA Data Pipelines in ArcGIS Online. The data store is Snowflake. On every occasion I insert the requirement parameters,

Server

Username/Password

Database

Schema

Warehouse

Role

I've confirmed outside of AGOL that the credentials and parameters work and connetion is successful.

however, in AGOL I continue to get 'Validation Failed"

Any ideas? Is there a specific driver I need?

Hi Jennifer,

Is your Snowflake connection only accessible from an internal network, and not from an external service like ArcGIS Online? Are the other apps you are using running within your network?

This is one idea. I also have a few more ideas to investigate if you'd like to follow up over email, my email is mpayson@esri.com

Thank you for trying the beta and posting your issue!

Max
