topic Is There A Zero Pixel Value File Filter In Add Rasters To Mosaic Dataset? in Data Management Questions

Greetings,
I have several hundred 3 band Ikonos 2 images, in the Mr. Sid format, that I would like to load into a raster mosaic dataset. Of those datasets, about 20% have no data on them. I have attached a screen capture of the information tool output that shows the pixel values from the raster data sets that are loading. This is from the images in a test load.

Can anyone suggest a method for filtering out the images that have zero pixel value from loading into the mosaic dataset?

I can see that there is a tool called Define Mosaic Dataset NoData, but from the description it seems like it is only creating a mask on the zero values once the data is loaded. But I could be mistaken.

I am using ArcGIS 10 geodatabase on Postgresql.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Regards,

Gene
