Mosaic dataset only displaying raster at certain scales?

Ive created a mosaic dataset of around 80 aerial photographs.

However it wont display all the tiles at the same time when I zoom out.

I dont have a visable scale range set so Im not sure whats happening.

Its okay if i zoom right in however.

Any ideas?

Two things you may want to look into, did you create/build overviews? If not then I would suggest building them, but if you did have you tried increasing the Maximum Number Of Rasters Per Mosaic for the mosaic dataset?

Thanks Voldune. Will the 'Colour Balance Mosaic Dataset' tool work on aerials photographs?

Ive just given it a go but the image comes out really dark. Any idea how to best balance all the images using this tool?

It should work on aerial imagery. Have you played around with the Color Correction Window?

No I havnt but I'll give it a try and let you know how i get on.
