topic How to create line joining points while linking attributes? in Data Management Questions

Our company keeps an inventory of all of the culverts in our region. A GPS point is taken on each end of the culvert with attributes such as elevation, condition, type, etc. also being recorded. I would like to create line files connecting the two ends of each culvert, so on the map the culvert can be represented as a line instead of two points. I can do this easy enough with the snapping tool however I am wondering if there is any way to link the attributes from each point to the newly created line file?

Thanks
