Hello,
I am trying to recreate a TIN in Arcview from an AutoCAD dxf. I am using the Create TIN tool, the dxf line data (hard line) and a separate boundary line shapefile (hard clip) that matches the dxf boundary exactly. When the new TIN is finished, the boundary no longer matches up. There are holes in the TIN and places where there has been some extrapolation of some sort. The CAD triangles meet the boundary polygon exactly. Why is the Create TIN tool not using the CAD triangles on the edge that already match the boundary polygon for the hard clip?

Thanks.
Valerie
