how to easily and efficiently convert .laz to .las in ArcMap?

Dear sir or madam,

I've a problem that I need .laz importing into ArcMap. However, ArcGis requires only .las file.

what should I do? Alternatively, I have to convert via LASzip.exe function. However, it didn't work.

I cannot convert it as someone said. Does anyone know how to solve with it or have any idea?

I highly appreciate your help and assistance

The screen shot that you posted indicated that you did not run the tool properly. You might try running the UI based tool that it proposed.

If you can't get that to work then you best bet probably lies here:

http://www.laszip.org/

If this software cannot convert the file to LAS then my best guess is that you have a corrupt file.

Hi,

The laszip.exe file is having problems with the spaces and possibly the parentheses in the path to your input file. Try moving the file to someplace like c:\temp (may have to create it) and try the tool again.
