topic Events layer and Projection Error in Data Management Questions

Hello!

Using lat/long coordinates which I recorded from Google Earth (WGS 1984) I created a table, and an event layer for a single point. I have confirmed that I entered the lat/long coordinates correctly in the table, using data from Reference USA database which I have geocoded successfully in the past. I have exported this events layer into a shapefile, using the coordinate system of the data itself (which I selected when creating the events layer).

The rest of the data I am working with is in NAD83, and I am using UTM 17N to project all of the data for this project.

When I try to project the point shapefile, created from the events layer, I select the geographic transformation NAD_1983_to_WGS_1984_1 and I receive the following error: "A locator with this name does not exist." I am not using Python for any of this.

Any help or suggestions? Thanks in advance.
