topic SQL Database Name a Reserved Word in Data Management Questions

We have a SQL database that our Real Estate system populates nightly and we use that data to build our parcel attributes. The database name is "Public", which is a SQL reserved word. I can create a working connection file to this database in ArcMap, but not in ArcGIS Pro. Short of renaming the database and rewriting our scripts, has anyone found a workaround for this?

What does Pro do when you attempt the connection?

More importantly, what does your parcel attribute update process look like. You mention scripts, so I'm assuming Python? Could you use something like sqlalchemy to connect to the database instead of doing it through Pro?
