GDAL library for custom raster format in ArcGIS 10.2?

For ArcGIS 10 and 10.1 there is a sample to support custom raster formats with GDAL driver.

Does this version for 10.1 also work for 10.2? Currently I can not find an update for 10.2.

Hi Marc,

We support some custom raster formats throug GDAL:

ARIS ASCII Grid Reader for ArcGIS

ARIS APS Reader (OPS output) for ArcGIS

Both drivers needed an upgrade from GDAL 1.6 to 1.8 while moving from ArcGIS 10.0 to ArcGIS 10.1

At the time we had to move to ArcGIS 10.2 there was no info to be found about ArcGIS 10.2 and GDAL, but apparently it just worked as ArcGIS 10.2.x is still using GDAL 1.8.

So both our tools work as one version with ArcGIS 10.1/10.2/10.2.1/10.2.2

Now I want to upgrade to ArcGIS 10.3 but now our drivers do not work, and there is no information on any changes.

The custom raster format page is moved now to:

But it still ends with info on ArcGIS 10.1

Hi Adhimoolam,

If you download (through Open button) on http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=cb7065146659428e9eadc9cd88268b9f it will now contain an updated version of gdal1.8.

Note: it is still called gdal1.8 but changes have been made between the version for ArcGIS 10.1/10.2 and the one for ArcGIS 10.3/10.3.1.
