Hello,
I see in ESRI Website the followings:

"A File Geodatabase Can have more than one concurrent editor (provided they are editing in different tables, feature classes, or feature datasets"

ArcView 10 Single Use License has been installed on the computers. I have created a File Geodatabase, inside it two Feature Datasets, and imported a feature class in each dataset. It seems the whole File Geodatabase is locked when one user edit a Feature Class in the File Geodatabase. The other user can open feature classes for viewing but cannot go to the editing mode to edit other features of the File Geodatabase.

Is there anything I can do, to have more than one concurrent editor(in different feature classes) in a File Geodatabase?

Thanks for your response,

Can't answer your question as I haven't tried what you are attempting, and you probably already read it, but this ESRI PDF gives some more details, see point 5...

Maybe there is a limit to the number or Feature Datasets open for editing (just 1 allowed??). E.g. you are not allowed to make two Feature Classes in two different Feature Datasets editable, but are allowed to edit one Stand-alone (not in Feature Dataset) Feature Class, and one residing in a Feature Dataset...? Just guessing here.

In your example, have you added both feature classes to your ArcMap? Please provide all of the details that you can.

Hi
You are absolutely right. I added feature classes to both ArcMap projects. That was the problem. Thank you very much for your help.
Behroz
