We have tried to automate the backup process in SQL Server Management Studio and we have done that successfully, but during our testing process of trying to restore a database to make sure it works it fails. When the backup is created through ArcCatalog and we try to restore it is a success. What gives?

ArcSDE 10
Windows Server 2008 Standard SP 2
64 Bit
SQL 2008 R2

Thanks,

Ryan Stovern
GIS Analyst
Lake County, Minnesota
