Adding �??feature classes�?� to an existing replica,

I have the following scenario:

1. A replica is created between N arcsde goedatabase and NR file geodatabase with name "m". This replica includes only one feature class �??N.DBO.MasterPlans_Detailed_03�?�

[ATTACH=CONFIG]24910[/ATTACH], [ATTACH=CONFIG]24911[/ATTACH]

2. Later on, another feature class named �??N.DBO.PartialUrbanMasterPlans�?� is required to be included in the replica �??m".

[ATTACH=CONFIG]24912[/ATTACH]

How this might be accomplished?

I wanted to use the �??create replica�?� as geoprocessing tool but couldn�??t figure out which option is equivalent to �??Select Register existing data only�?�

By the way, have you any idea if this issue resolved in 10.2?

Jamal, there are cases where the Geoprocessing Tools and corresponding Wizards or dialogs in the user interface of ArcGIS don't entirely match.

This seems to be one of those cases. It means you will need to use the Create Replica Wizard (or ArcObjects programming) to do the job.

It would be nice if things always corresponded for the full 100%, but I can appreciate there might be cases where it is difficult to implement from a technical point of view.

You are right. But sometimes it is quite confusing that same tool has different input/output/settings components.

How about the 10.2? is such tool (adding features to an existing replica) built �?? in on the core?

I haven't specifically heard about it, but than I also didn't dig into it to find out. Jake Skinner can most likely tell you...
