      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;In ArcGIS 9.3 Service Pack 1, ArcGIS 9.3.1, and ArcGIS 10 you can use one of the &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/arcgisonline/standard-maps.html"&gt;ArcGIS Online Map Services&lt;/A&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;.&amp;nbsp; These services can be access directly from the Add Data button in ArcGIS 10.&amp;nbsp; For ArcGIS 9.3 and ArcGIS 9.3.1 you will need to create a connection to the gis service using the following url - &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="http://services.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/services/"&gt;http://services.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/services/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;There is also the Landsat Imagery than can be accessed as a gis service from the following url - &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="http://imagery.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/services"&gt;http://imagery.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/services&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Details of this service and how to connect to it are discussed in the following blog:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://blogs.esri.com/support/blogs/mappingcenter/archive/2011/05/12/using-landsat-services-to-study-land-cover-change-over-time.aspx"&gt;Using the Landsat Image Services to Study Land Cover Change Over Time&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
