Moving a topology node without moving other vertices

ArcGIS Desktop Editor (now "Standard") v10.1 SP1

Up through v10.0 you could select only a topology node, and move just that node/vertex. In 10.1 moving the node moves all the polygons as well. I've tried this with "Stretch Proportionately" on and off (seems to have no effect), and I've tried holding down the Control key (changes the graphical cursor, but nothing moves when you attempt to drag the node). You also used to be able to select only nodes by holding down the "n" key while selecting with the mouse.

In short, everything on this page:

seems to be removed/broken for 10.1.

Am I missing something or have these features been removed (seems unthinkable given how useful they were).

Hey there,
You can still select just the node by clicking once directly on the intersection point between the edges. The easier way to move the node/intersection is to select the adjoining edges and move your cursor to the intersection point, then click and hold to move the intersection. The default behavior is then to stretch topology elements. This can be changed under the topology tab in the editor options dialog. This is independent of stretching feature geometry found under the general tab.
The 'N' key functionality was removed. The help was updated for 10.1 (Editing shared geometry)

Thank you Sean. That gets me back to most of the 10.0 behavior I wanted.

At first glance I had missed the difference between the two "Stretch Proportionally" options ("vertex" [on the General tab] vs "topology element" [on the Topology tab]). I also assumed at first that the "Stretch Proportionally" button on the Edit Vertices toolbar would do what I want, but, again, it was for vertices not topology elements.

I see, however, you can no longer move more than one node at a time. I'll grant I rarely used that particular feature, but I'm curious as to the reason for removing it.
