I'm trying something similar with an Intergraph G/Technology formatted Oracle Database. In my efforts to connect, I was lead to this site:

http://fmepedia.safe.com/articles/Samples_and_Demos/Oracle-Spatial-Object#heading_toc_j_2

Specifically:
--Spatial Views
--ESRI Data Interoperability Extension (FME)

You may need to create a metadata entry for the feature and then an index.

...just a thought.

Hi,

I'm new to the Data Interop extension. We use GeoMedia Pro and are looking to access our Oracle tables in ArcGIS 10. We do not have ArcGIS Server/SDE. When I create my connection (using the Oracle Spatial Object Format) and load data into ArcMap, it does not zoom to the layer. If I add a shapefile in the same location and zoom to it, I can see the data from Oracle. Do the max/min extents not carry over or am I missing something in my Geometry Data? Also, does anyone have any tips or how to's for using Oracle Spatial with the Data Interop extension?

Thanks,

Paul
