GeoCode to Midblock Locations

Hi all,

I have a large set of traffic counts that I need to geocode. Sounds easy, however I am stuck with the format of the spreadsheet's addresses. Each row in the spreadsheet pertains to different traffic counter devices so there are several rows for the same street (it is basically block by block). One column has the street name and another has the cross streets of each street segment (basically the start and end point for each row). Example:

Street Name - Main Street; Cross Streets - Halifax Rd & Village Rd
Street Name - Main Street; Cross Streets - Village Rd & Forest Dr
Street Name - Main Street; Cross Streets - Forest Dr & Trot Lane

I think that ideally I would like to tie the traffic data into a midpoint along the street network. Alternatively, I would like to apply the traffic count data to the street network directly so as to produce a linear feature (some sort of join to the street network).

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
