ARCSDE: connect to production enviroment

Hi guys I need help.

I will explain my problem with ArcSDE 10.2.
I have install the ArcSDE and authorize the product on our server. I connected the ArcSDE to our sample Database (Oracle database) on test environment. now I need to connect the ArcSDE to production Database(Oracle) on another server.
What do I need, to connect the ArcSDE to the production server?

do I need to repeat the post install process again?

can you guys provide me the steps to connect to the other database server?

you need to install the ArcSDE on the production server since is for different DBMS system.

To further add on to what Emad said:

There is no Post Installation in ArcSDE 10.2. You can use �??Create Enterprise Geodatabase�?? geoprocessing tool.

If you have already setup a database and have user permissions assigned on it with data, then you can use �??Enable Enterprise Geodatabase�?? geoprocessing tool to enable Geodatabase functionality in the database.

Hi, the problem is with arcSDE 10.0. not 10.2 sorry for that.

You have to Install ArcSDE 10.0, followed by ArcSDE Postinstallation.
