Hello Everyone,

ArcGIS 10 SP5 - SQL Server 2008

We have an address locator built off of our street centerline feature class. Some of our street segments will have an address range on one side of 0-0. This occurs along our divided highways / streets. Our problem is that any address along the entirety of the street (any segment) will be geocoded against the segment that has a range of 0-0.

For example, we search for 902 Church St. The geocoder first two results are for the divided section of road, block 1400 Church St.

Hard to explain so I attached two images. One details the error and the other displays the settings for our address locator.

Thanks,
Shaun

And even harder to understand; To me your illustration shows two segements; one has a range of 0-1414 and the other 0-1411. 902 falls well within that range.

Check your street data, and be sure your 0 - 0 ranges are on one side or the other.

Figured it out ............ and its embarrassing

The "From Right" parameter in our address locator is set to Addr_LTo instead of Addr_RFrom.

So this would cause the range to be 0 - 1499 as you pointed out.

Thanks!
