FME workbench crashing

For some sudden reason, everytime I try to edit spatial ETL tool through arccatalog, the FME workbench has started crashing.

(running 9.3.1 on o/s xp sp3)

I initially thought another extention may be interfering, so turned everything off except data interop, no cigar!

Hi Christine,

Are you able to send me your toolbox so I can investigate whether something has gotten corrupt inside of it? Also, are you able to create a new SpatialETL tool and open it for editing?

You also mentioned that this suddenly started happening. Did you recall installing anything on your computer before this problem began?

Thanks, I will do.

I am getting the same behaviour when creating a new tool, it opens then after a few seconds I get the error.

There has been nothing installed recently, and the tools are working fine when run, I just cannot edit ='(

Hi Christine,

It sounds as if a re-install or repair is worth a try....have you tried this already?
