Good Afternoon,

I have township tax parcel maps scanned in as jpeg files. I need to vectorize these maps but can't figure them out. I know how to do it by hand but that is very time consuming and i have 3 counties to do. I need to get my raster image to have unique values. As of now it only has RGB composite, and Stretched. This makes it so my arc scan is blurred out and cannot be used.
I guess my question is how do i get my jpeg into a readable raster format so i can use arc scan to help the process of automation?
Also once in the right format how do i make the shape file automatically, i guess using arc scan?

Thanks

You need to reclassify the raster with the reclassify tool
