topic Failure to Snap on a Shapefile with a Join in Data Management Questions

Having an odd issue with the snapping feature in editor. I have a shapefile that has a join performed on it so I can see additional information. I am trying to snap to this point shapefile with a separate polyline shapefile.....however snapping does not recognize it. It will recognize all the other shapefiles I have present. Once I remove the join from the shapefile the snapping magically works again. Has any one else experienced this? Thanks.

This has been identified as a bug (NIM095455: In an edit session, snapping stops working on a layer if a join exists on that layer.) and has been fixed in 10.2.2
