topic one to many join in Data Management Questions

Hi-

I've got a table and a layer. The layer is 5 zones of the first floor of a building labeled zone1, zone2, etc. The table has headcount data for # of people in those zones at different dates and times.

If possible I want to join this table to my layer in order to eliminate steps for end users. I'm hoping to use this in an ArcGIS Online Web App to spare them multiple steps of querying, joining, etc.

It seems I should be able to join the table and layer in a one-to-many join but I have not had success. Any help is appreciated.

-Erich
