Features don't show up in layout view

Hello fellow members of the GeoNet Esri Community,

I need help on a simple issue. When I work on my map in data view I have no problem seeing the features, but when I switch to layout view the features just don't show up. The same problem occurs when I open a new blank map, add some new data and switch to layout view again. I came to realize that when I use the layout of an old .mxd document, I'll be able to see those features normally, but otherwise there is just nothing to see. How can I fix this problem, should I try to reset my ArcGIS Application profile? Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. Draft mode is off, functions like zoom in and go to full extent just won't work at all.

Emre,

Have you tried testing the same on a different machine or test the same on your machine logged in with a different user profile.

It might be a machine or profile specific issue.
