Hi all,

I''m pretty much new to ArcGis but I've been trying for two days to get this to work and I just cannot get my head around it so.

I downloaded a few tiles of LIDAR (Light detection and ranging) information in .asc file format which I've been able to import into Arcgis 10 via Arctoolbox>Conversion Tools>To Raster>ASCII to Raster

and through this a can see a visual representation of my tiles (lighter for higher, darker for lower)

which is nice but what I really want to do (I'm hoping this is possible) is to convert this raster data or just the original .asc files to a digital surface model and export it in a CAD format (preferably .dxf)

Appologies if this is either impossible or obvious but at the moment I feel like I'm smacking my head against a brick wall.

Thanks
