Hi all,

I'm new to the 3D-visualisation part of ArcGIS, and am looking to build something similar to this (scroll further down to see the image).

Essentially:

I have a dataset of different types of events (interactions with the public sector - applications, library loans etc)

I'd like to map this data by type (with a different colour for applications, loans etc) and showing peaks of activity (like in the above image)

If at all possible, I'd like to be able to calculate which points/quantity of which fall on the border between countries (and the % likelihood of a point being recorded on/a few streets near the border versus further inland). I'm not sure how I'd be able to do this, perhaps a variable that looks at whether the long/lat is +/- the measurement of the border?

Grateful for any help or guidance, and please do let me know whether or not this is possible in Arc!

Thanks,

Calum
