TIFF's aren't georeferencing properally

Hi,

I'm having issues georeferencing some raster data. I have received 24 maps and what I thought was referencing data from
franceand I'm attempting to over lay them onto a DEM. Some of the maps are overlaying ontop of the DEM and a majority of
them arenot. I looked at the TAB files given to me with the maps and there are differences in the coordinate systems but these
don't seem to effect which maps get referenced and which ones don't. The ones that don't get georeferenced all show up next to each other in the proper order. I'm a newer user of arcmap and I have no idea what the problem could be. I'm starting to think
that we may be missing some data.
