topic SQL server - Cannot alter table in foreign schema in Data Management Questions

Hello everobody,
there is a problem to modify feature class schema (i.e. add attribute) when this "table" is created in different schema. Even if alter table is allowed in SQL server and works fine directly in Management Studio, ArcCatalog probably controls the role of connected user. Only DB_OWNERs and SYSADMINs do this.

Does anybody know any workarround?
Thanks

Kuba
