Problems installing ArcSDE 9.3

Hello,
in the post-installation-process of ArcSDE 9.3 I want to create the service of ArcSDE. There, I get the error message:Underlying DBMS error (-51) and "Database service OracleServiceLFU doesn't exist".

My Oracle 10G-Database is running on another server (let's call it A) and is also reachable by sqlplus from the computer (let's call it B), where I want to install the ArcSDE. Furthermore, the OracleServiceLFU from the error message ist running on server A.
My used "SDE user password", "ORACLE SID" and "Server name" should be okay.

Therefor, I don't understand the error message.

Has someone some hints?

Windows ArcSDE services are made dependent on the Oracle service to ensure
proper start order. If the Oracle service is not local, the install instructions call
for manual install to make use of the '-n' switch to disable service dependency.

In combination with this document http://resources.arcgis.com/content/kbase?fa=articleShow&d=23753 the ArcSDE-Server is running now.
