Error while posting child version to default "Out of server memory"

Hi All,

While positng a child version to default we are getting the following error:
"The version could not be posted.Out of server memory"
We are using arcsde version 9.3.1 with sp1 and sp2 installed for oracle11g on a linux machine.
If anybody know solution to this problem kindly help out.

Hi Vaibhav,

Are you using direct connect or application connections (2 or 3 tier)? If you are using 3 tier check your sde logs. Also - Check with your your sys admin/dba for that linux box and see if any errors were thrown in the system logs or in the alert log for the database.
