Greetings,

I recently downloaded some county DRG mosaics from data gateway. I tried both methods of extract by mask and clipping based on the county polygon boundary in ArcGIS 10. For both methods my resulting raster looks very poor compared to the original. I have my environment settings set correctly to use the minimum of the input, and also selecting the resolution of the raster itself, am not compressing the file in anyway, and still get very poor results. Has anyone had the same results and can clue me into a solution? Much appreciated. Please see attached photos for example.
