Reconcile/post behavior between a child and parent,

What is interesting that by applying the ???reconcile??? tool all the changes in the parent versions are reflected directly on the child.

What is weird is that when applying the post the changes of the child are not transferred to the parent directly (the parent here is public). Refresh, zooming or panning didn't let these changes to show up!

,

By accident, I tried to ???start editing??? the parent version, then the changes of the child are transferred to the parent!

,

Is this a typical behaviour?

Thank you

Best

Jamal
